Project Idea and Proposed Solution:
The standard of living of the people depends a lot on the communication system. In modern times, the risk of accident on the railway is low. Most people depend on the rail for transportation. However, many types of accidents happen very often. Several reasons for this accident have been discovered by doing online surveys and researching various newspapers.
1. For signal delay
2. For loco masters mistakes
3.Level level crossing
Most of us are familiar with these problems. As a result of these various types of accidents caused many lives and many more casualties. It is very important to solve these problems now. Let's come first:
Signal Delay: The signaling system in our country is still operating in a traditional way. Locomotive has to rely on the signal light to see the signal light in this system. If for some reason the lights are missed or the lights go down due to mechanical faults, then the chance of an accident is high.
Loco master's mistake: It is often seen that the loco master of train falls asleep while running the train. Or does not pay attention to the signal. As a result, it does not reduce where it is needed to reduce the speed or break.
Level crossing: In most of our country, level crossing is still illegal. Level crossings are turned off on the train arrivals schedule or by the sound of the rail. For any reason, if a car or a person gets into the rail line during the level crossing of the railway, there is life threatening.
Solutions:We have tried to apply solutions to different categories under one system by dividing the problem into categories.
We have divided the hazardous areas of the railway into some block sections. One block section measures 500 meters. There will be a tracking circuit about 500 meters away and a wireless communication system through which both the stationmaster and the locomotive can see the signal. If for some reason the stationmaster fails to give the signal, the loco master will still be able to see. And if the loco master does not brake even after receiving stationmasters signal from it, then the emergency bell will ring to alert the locomotive on the train first. If it does not break, then the micro controller on the automated way will reduce the speed of the train. In this case, the buck-boost circuit is required to control the torque by raising or lowering the voltage. Above all, there will be an app for live monitoring that allows you to see the train's location on both Stationmaster and Loco master through GPS tracking.
